The figures on the ramp are mannequins of aliens.

In Kingman, Arizona, we rented a U-Haul to drive through Las Vegas and towards Death Valley.
Here we stopped driving to explore Red Rock Canyon, Nevada, by bike.

Red Rock Canyon,

Badwater, the lowest spot in the Americas
280 feet (85m) below sea level

Badwater
All the white stuff on the ground is salt from an ancient sea.

Sand dunes
- it's starting to look like "real" desert.

Looking back as we climb out of Death Valley

Dante's View - from the slopes above Badwater
- it's about a mile straight down to the valley floor

Descending from Dante's View,
back to the U-Haul for our final trek into Las Vegas and the flight home
